Our educators understand that teaching is a calling that requires patience, perseverance, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to ensure our scholars thrive in a Christ-honoring learning community.

Current Open Positions

SCA is looking for experienced, teachers to create a Christ-honoring learning community of academic excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a beacon of God’s love and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit 
  • Hold high expectations through personalized learning for all Shiloh Scholars
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in multiple subject areas
  • Provide daily instruction in God’s Word through devotionals and Bible classes
  • Actively participate in school-based professional development
  • Strive to meet school-based academic and socio-emotional goals
  • Plan and execute project-based learning opportunities  
  • Analyze data and develop action plans to constantly improve scholar achievement through rigorous meaningful instruction
  • Develop meaningful relationships with Shiloh Scholars and their families by keeping them informed of scholars’ progress and school events
  • Openly collaborate with partner teacher and SCA team
  • Work to maintain a positive learning environment that cultivates the spiritual, academic, and socio-emotional needs of scholars

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education (2.5 GPA or higher)
  • Must adhere to at least one of the following credentialing options:
    • Hold an active Georgia teacher certification issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, or hold an active out-of-state teacher certification
    • Hold a retired Georgia teacher certification issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission or out-of-state equivalent
  • Five or more years of teaching experience preferred
  • Passion for SCA’s statement of faith, mission, and strong commitment to an exceptional learning environment

 

SCA is looking for experienced tutors to support public, private, and homeschool scholars in grades 3-8 in reading, writing, and/or mathematics in a Christ-honoring learning community of academic excellence.

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a beacon of God’s love and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit 
  • Hold high expectations through personalized learning for all Shiloh Scholars
  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality instruction in multiple subjects areas with a focus on personalized learning
  • Develop meaningful relationships with students and their families by keeping them informed of scholars’ progress
  • Work to maintain a positive learning environment that cultivates the spiritual, academic, and socio-emotional needs of scholars

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education (2.5 GPA or higher)
  • Two or more years of relevant experience working with students or in an educational setting preferred  
  • Solid understanding of instruction and teaching best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor in interpersonal skills and appearance
  • Passion for SCA’s statement of faith, mission, and strong commitment to an exceptional learning environment

SCA is looking for teacher assistant interns to support our teachers with creating a Christ-honoring learning community of academic excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a beacon of God’s love and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit 
  • Hold high expectations through differentiated learning for all students
  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality instruction in one or more subject areas
  • Facilitate weekly corporate worship and enrichment sessions
  • Available to substitute for classroom teacher when needed
  • Strive to meet school-based academic and socio-emotional goals
  • Develop meaningful relationships with students and their families by keeping them informed on education-related issues and school events
  • Openly collaborate with partner teacher and SCA team
  • Work to maintain a positive learning environment that cultivates the spiritual, academic, and socio-emotional needs of the students

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of college or Associate’s Degree (2.5 GPA or higher)
  • Two or more years relevant experience working with students or in an educational setting preferred  
  • Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor in interpersonal skills and appearance
  • Passion for SCA’s statement of faith,  mission, and strong commitment to an exceptional learning environment
